A pre-project survey is a set of preliminary research activities to clarify the goals and objectives, the composition and scope of work in the subsequent design of technical re-equipment, reconstruction, capital construction of the Facility.

As a result of the implementation of the pre-project survey, the specialists of the project group receive conclusions and data that are the basis for the subsequent preparation of the requirements specification and the conclusion of a design work contract with the Customer. Having the obtained information, the Customer is able to precisely formulate the requirements specification indicating the specifics, scope and main directions of the planned work. In its turn, this allows the Contractor to draw up an optimal work schedule for the implementation of design work, providing for possible action algorithms in the event of their unplanned increase.

ASTERO has a rich practical experience of conducting pre-project surveys of production Facilities, including those operating according to the standard GxP.
